Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her work. She has been a vocal advocate for the rights of animals. She is renowned for her movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). When she was in New York, she was born and brought up in an creative family. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant and then moved on to acting and modeling. Her first two movies she received recognition and won an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw became a household name after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was nominated for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films, she was voted the Top female debut at the box office around the globe. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were immortalized in 1972 at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other credits include The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and other. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw got married to three different people.
