Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen is an American singer songwriter model and actress who hails from St. Louis Missouri. She is known for playing Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as the singer in The rock group The Pretty Reckless. The songs of Momsen have been featured in a variety of shows and films, including How to Be Solo Going the Distance, and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen was born on June 26, 1993. she has a younger sister Sloane Momsen who is also an actress. The Center of Creative Arts is where she studied dance. At the age of three she started her professional acting career as a part of a nationally telecast Shake and Bake commercial. Momsen had a career pause for three years prior to being cast as the lead in Misconceptions, a WB television show. Momsen also starred in Saving Shiloh the 2006 film. She also auditioned for the lead role in Hannah Montana and was in the top three, but the role was instead awarded the role to Miley Cyrus.
