Luciana Paoluzzi as well as Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the daughter of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) and Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress of Benito Mussolini). Her siblings are unknown. Luciana has graduated from her local high-school in 1955 and was a student of naval engineering at Milan in the Scientific Academy of Milan. Luciana as the sole female in her class, was the very first student to graduate. He was an actor and producer who was inspired by her character to write and direct this Spaghetti Western hybrid based on her character as Green Slime.
